Not exactly

Sadly today a New Jersey plane crashed into a building. The plane is clearly there, right? Wouldn't you think pictures of a bigger plane hitting a bigger building would show the plane sticking out of the building like the picture of today's crash?

Hmmm.

According to all reports, there were 4 planes that crashed on 9/11, right? Two at the WTC, 1 at the Pentagon, and 1 in PA.

I clearly remember driving home from work on 9/11 after they evacutated all of our downtown buildings and hearing them talk on the radio about 2 hijacked planes still in the air. I remember speculation that one was headed towards the White House. This was before the PA plane crashed. When I got home and resumed news coverage, we heard about the plane crashing in the field, but I never again heard word about that other plane they were discussing on the radio.

My initial thought was that the government might have shot down the mysterious 5th plane, but didn't want the American public to know that they shot down a commercial airliner. My problem with this theory is that there would be alot of families with missing people that might have came forward to discuss this missing plane that was never mentioned again. Does anyone else remember hearing about a 5th plane?

Now that mention it, I sorta remember that too. And I don't remember ever hearing about it again. A lot of people speculate (at least what i've heard) is that the plane that crashed in the field might have been shot down by our planes when it was known to be hyjacked. Although I have no idea where to find evidence for or against.

I just have a gut feeling that a lot of 9/11 was not what was reported.

It's interesting stuff, but Snopes did a pretty good job of debunking the Pentagon rumors. You can read them here:

http://www.snopes.com/rumors/pentagon.htm

They don't show it any more, but did you see the actual video footage of one of the planes crashing into one of the towers? The plane just disappears into the side of the WTC like it was made of paper . . . sometimes things like that just don't act like we would expect them to. The Snopes story talks about why the wings are missing and the conflicting reports of what people saw and heard around Washington that day and everything.

I'm pretty sure that not everything has been reported about 9/11, but as for a plane crashing into the Pentagon--I'm pretty confident that it really happened.
